Let's Get This Road on the Show

Last exhibit in the Marianne van Silfhout Gallery before our graduate show! Before the set up of Lisa Free’s exhibition, we learned the do’s and don’ts of how to prepare for our show in April! One of the main things we tackled was colour theory and ensuring that pieces of a similar palette should be kept separate rather than together. This goes for subject matter and size, too! Strategically placing them throughout the gallery directs the viewer's eye and provides the exhibition with a sense of flow and consistency. We also discussed an appropriate height for hanging, labelling, and everything else there is to know. We will definitely be ready to go in time for our exhibit at the end of April!
