Lasting Impression(ism)

Here are some works in progress and final pieces from today’s Oil II class! The last few weeks we’ve been looking at Impressionism and the Group of Seven. After going through a bit of history and analyzing certain images, we took what we learned to create 16x20 impressionistic pieces of our own. Some of the artists that we took influence from were Claude Monet, Tom Thomson, and Franklin Carmichael!
